Boyplunger.com is open to receiving article submissions from authors that specialize in investing, finance and financial markets. Subjects covered range from commodities to analysis of Fed minutes and anything else in between. The process involves registering and requesting author status by which a writer gains access to some of the administrative functions of this platform, being able to upload articles and perform follow ups. Here are the details:

The Process

Consider contributing articles in the area of:

1. commodities,
2. forex markets and currencies,
3. stock exchanges,
4. futures,
5. options,
6. fixed income instruments,
7. ETFs,
8. mutual funds and,
9. structured products.

The typical article should have:

* a minimum of 650 words.
* not more than 2 outgoing links.
* can include / upload up to 2 images -licensed- (charts needed to expand a concept).
* HTML is accepted if the author knows how to use the “editor” function (use of h2, h3, h4 tags, underline, bold, italic, paragraphs, etc. are all encouraged. No iframing, scripting should take place).

Approvals

Boyplunger.com seeks to improve the quality of its articles and there is a minimum quality threshold below which submissions will not make it to the final stage. Experienced technical writers and contributors who are experts in specific areas have an enormous advantage. Once a submission is accepted, chances are all future submissions will follow suit. Most approvals should take place within 72 hours and authors will receive a notification by email.

Limits

Besides the number of outgoing links, images and word count, we will be accepting a maximum of 2 submissions per week per author. Please let us know of your interest in becoming a more permanent contributor. Additionally, guest entries cannot contain links to unethical sites, commercial ones (splash pages, doorways or promotional affiliated pages), and keyword-unrelated links. Links should yield to 200 server header pages (no redirects and no cloaking).

Re-publishing terms

To better comply with indexing rules by major search engines, submissions are never to be republished for the lifetime of this site and all content submitted be original and unique.

Credits

Authors will be allowed to include -per submission- a short paragraph with aspects of their bio (career, background, books, linked website/blog) and experience. Authors will also have their own page with a list of published articles that they can link to or reference. Only one link is allowed in the authors’ snippet. The link would take no anchor and be presented in the form http://www.domain.com

Communication

In all cases, the audience will be able to contact authors via this site. Although this will not prevent a user (reader, audience) to visit the author’s personal website/blog by directly clicking on his/her link posted on his/her bio/snippet. In addition, all articles will be “commentable”, therefore, anyone may write an opinion on the subject brought about by the author.

Our role

Boyplunger.com offers itself as a mediator platform to other writers. However, minimal editing may be part of our tasks while assessing a submission (example, grammar) as well as the placement of a maximum of 4 contextual links -anchors that link to related content within the blog and expand the concept for the benefit of the reader-.
